Kanpur Chapter of ICSI

NLK Academy organized a Career Awareness Programme on 15.05.24 for students of classes IX-XI and the renowned guests of the day were CS Reena Jakhodia and CS Manish Kumar Pal, the Chairperson and Secretary respectively of Kanpur Chapter of ICSI. The session underlined the importance of commerce stream in today’s times and threw light on the avenues available after becoming a certified Company Secretary.

हिंदी का मान, देश का सम्मान

हिंदी दिवस के शुभ अवसर पर, हमारे विद्यालय ने कक्षा 9 से 11 के बीच अंतर-सदनीय हिंदी वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया। इस प्रतिस्पर्धा में हमारे चारों हाउस - बोस, कलाम, टैगोर, और नायडू ने बड़े उत्साह और जोश के साथ भाग लिया।
इस प्रतियोगिता का विषय था- क्या डिजिटल उपकरणों को कागज़ और नोटबुक की जगह लेनी चाहिए?
इस प्रतियोगिता की विजेता रहीं-
नेहा मिश्रा (बोस हाउस)
आर्या दीक्षित (कलाम हाउस)
और अदिति यादव (कलाम हाउस)।

Beyond Academics Fun Unfold

The summer camp at NLK Academy was an unforgettable experience for all participants! The campers showcased their sporting spirit through thrilling matches of Basketball and Cricket, with many discovering their hidden talents. Meanwhile, the artistic side of the camp came alive through Calligraphy workshops, where students learned the intricacies of beautiful handwriting. The Dance and Music sessions were a huge hit, with everyone grooving to the beats and showcasing their vocal prowess. But it wasn't all fun and games - the campers also underwent a transformative Personality Development program, emerging more confident and self-assured. And for those seeking a physical challenge, the Karate training sessions proved to be an exhilarating experience. And not only this the school organized a jaw dropping magic show to let our children be awestruck and amazed . With so many activities packed in a few days, it's no wonder the campers left with heavy hearts but cherished memories that will last a lifetime!

Ganesh Chathurti – 19 September

The Pre-Primary students of NLK Academy celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with much zeal. The importance of celebrating this festival and the story behind this was narrated to the students followed by Aarti and Visarjan of the idol of Lord Ganesha.

Celebrating diversity helps children understand each other better while learning about different cultures and festivals of different states.

Independence Day – 15 August

The Independence Day of our motherland India, was celebrated with fervor by our students. The event was full of patriotism and enthusiasm that kindled an emotion / feeling of love for our country within the children.

Student Council Elections - 10th July

The election for the Students’ Council was held at NLK Academy on 10th July 2022. The objective of appointing the Student’ Council is to provide a platform to the students to develop leadership qualities by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the Student’ Council is the voice of the student body. They help share student ideas, interests and concerns with the school wide community.

Students from Grade 3-9 casted their vote to choose the right candidate. Within the elections, the students were given the chance to choose a candidate of their choice and finally all the elected students were conferred designation badges and sashes in the Investiture ceremony held on 22nd July 2022.

Founders Day - 5th August

With immense pride and joy, we celebrate our 75th Founder’s Day of our Hon'ble Founders Shri Nand Lal Khanna ji, a “great pioneer in the field of education”.

With love and immense respect, we offer our wishes to an ideal of Wisdom, Leadership and vision.

This occasion gives us a small opportunity to pay our respects to our school’s Founder – Nand Lal Khanna Ji. We are forever indebted to the vision of our Founder. A great man whose foresight and imagination led to the creation of this institution.
