Inauguration Day

March 3, 2020, an auspicious day for all at NLK Academy, marks the birthday of Lt. Smt. Pushpa Khanna Ji. The Inauguration Ceremony was thereby scheduled to take place on this remarkable day. The building was officially inaugurated by the school benefactor and owner Lt. Ms. Vina Sabharwal, Trustee, NLK Group of Schools. The programme began by invoking God's blessings on our endeavour. A grand puja was held at the school temple followed by a memorable event which was held at the Academy Auditorium. The presence of our distinguished dignitaries, teachers and our students made the event even more spectacular.

The welcome address was given by Ms. Amita Kalra, principal of NLK Academy, acquainted the august gathering with the accomplishments of our very adored Founder Lt. Smt. Pushpa Khanna Ji who laid the foundation of NLK Group of Schools. In her tribute to this great soul, she mentioned how the celebrated chain of NLK schools is a result of her efforts and dedication to the field of education. She further stated that the NLK Group of Schools that began with less than 7 students and now educates nine thousand students all over the city.

There was a brief introduction of NLK Academy, its mission, vision and features that proudly portrayed that the management left no stone unturned in making the Academy stand strong and diverse. The event was graced by the benign presence of the Chief Guests Mr. Anil Kumar from Delhi, Mr. Rajiv Tandon and Mr. Manish Sabharwal, a great Gandhian follower and believer in the ideologies of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and Sardar Vallabhai Patel. Mr. Manish Sabharwal presided over an interactive session with the students where he enthusiastically answered all their questions. It was a delight to watch Mr. Sabharwal answering the little curious minds. The event soon came to a befitting end by playing the most loved song of Lt. Smt. Pushpa Khanna Ji ‘Ekla Cholo Re’.
