A special assembly was planned for all grade students, which was fully dedicated to the Navratri celebrations. Our little munchkins prepared dances during the celebration and discussed the significance behind the celebrations.

The little ones were seen in colourful attire to play Garba. The pre-primary students also discussed several topics related to Gujarat traditional food and learned the dance form of Garba to grace the occasion. The evening celebration started by seeking blessings from the goddess Durga. Teachers also explained the importance of nine days of Navratri and Dussehra to the students. They even narrated the entire story behind the celebrations of Navratri, nine forms of goddess Durga and how the Navratri celebration signifies victory over the demons was explained in a unique way.

Furthermore, the significance and sequential events of nine days were also demonstrated by the teachers; various activities were organized to keep the children and parents engaged by setting up several activities for them. Students also showed how Navratri is celebrated in other states like Gujarat and West Bengal through their traditional dance performances. Seamlessly adapting to different cultures across different states, the colorful Jashn-e-Navratri and Dandiya Raas rejuvenated the festival's vibrancy and made the celebrations all the more colorful.

The Jashn-e-Navratri: Rock and Dhol celebration was a hit for our tiny tots, as they enjoyed to the fullest and learned to spread the message of joy and festivity among others. The celebration created many everlasting memories for our little ones to be cherished forever.

NLK Academy organized Winter Wonderland this December!ย A lot of preparations and hard labour went into making the Winter Wonderland a successful event. This rock out event was filled with so much fun, thrill and entertainment. Students rolled out with fun and enjoyed their day with so much enthusiasm and fervor. From selfie corners, dance competition, tattoo station, pottery, puppet show to Charlie Chaplin, snake and ladder, bouncy, trampoline and so muchย more, it was a day well spent.

It was a great occasion for parents and students to have fun with their family and friends. It is indeed a great occasion for all to get together and enjoy.

We had eight game stalls and ten food stalls. The junior and senior students were divided into groups and deployed at each stall in such an organized manner that they not only got an opportunity to shoulder the responsibility of the stall but also got time to visit other stalls and enjoy the event along with their friends. Amongst the games stalls, the most popular ones were Gun shooting, Fortune Wheel, Ring toss etc. However the greatest attraction was The Puppet Show that collected so many people around while the puppets were dancing.

A large variety of fast food items were served at the various food stalls. The best part of these food stalls was that the prices were kept quite reasonable as compared to the market prices. There was a perpetual rush at the โ€˜Chaatโ€™ stall, the โ€˜Momo'sโ€™ stall and the โ€˜Pizzaโ€™ stall. Non-vegetarian items were not served. The tea and the cold drink stalls also turned out to be a huge favorite. As the evening progressed and the chill increased, everybody wanted to grab a tea. Hats off to our dedicated team of teachers and the able guidance of our Principal.
