Our little munchkins prepared dances during the celebration and discussed the significance behind the celebrations.

The little ones were seen in colourful attire to play Garba. The pre-primary students also discussed several topics related to Gujarat traditional food and learned the dance form of Garba to grace the occasion. The evening celebration started by seeking blessings from the goddess Durga. Teachers also explained the importance of nine days of Navratri and Dussehra to the students. They even narrated the entire story behind the celebrations of Navratri, nine forms of goddess Durga and how the Navratri celebration signifies victory over the demons was explained in a unique way.

Furthermore, the significance and sequential events of nine days were also demonstrated by the teachers; various activities were organized to keep the children and parents engaged by setting up several activities for them. Students also showed how Navratri is celebrated in other states like Gujarat and West Bengal through their traditional dance performances. Seamlessly adapting to different cultures across different states, the colorful Jashn-e-Navratri and Dandiya Raas rejuvenated the festival's vibrancy and made the celebrations all the more colorful.
